Welcome to the Oakland Teen Empowerment Program for Teen Girls (non-profit 501C3). The objective of the program is to educate, empower and embrace all teen girls, we will encourage participants to register and attend college.
We would like to give a very warm ‘Thank You’ to sponsors, mentors, Peralta Colleges and Bridge Bank for making this program possible. We are grateful to be able to give back to the community. This is by far our most rewarding experience and there is no other girls’ program like this in the Bay Area. The purpose of our nonprofit program is to prevent teens from becoming victims of violence/ trafficking and to provide them the tools to become strong community leaders. Our goal is to increase the number of girls in our community that attend college annually. For more information, please see our web site, the KRON TV interview and newspaper article. |
